WordPress care plan for the ring.

Optional monthly cover for the site we built. Three tiers, £39, £69, or £99 a month. Cancel any time, no lock-in, no minimum term. We do not sell a care plan by default because most small business sites do not need one on day one. When the site starts pulling real weight, or the plugin count grows past the point where you want to eyeball updates yourself, this is the pack to bolt on.

What a care plan actually is

A retainer for the mechanical bits of a WordPress site: core updates, plugin updates, security scans, uptime monitoring, and a monthly window of hands-on tweak time. Not SEO. Not paid ads. Not new features. Ongoing SEO and paid ads are not part of the plan.

Essential, £39 per month

• Monthly WordPress core and plugin updates on a staging pass, then push to live.
• Weekly automated security scan (Wordfence or equivalent), inbox alert on anything actionable.
• Uptime monitoring on a five-minute check, SMS or email alert on downtime.
• One 30-minute tweak window each month: swap a photo, change opening hours, add a testimonial.

Fits: a shopfront, a solo tradesman, a five-page Starter or Landing pack that mostly sits still between builds.

Standard, £69 per month

• Everything in Essential.
• Monthly speed report: Core Web Vitals, image bloat check, plugin footprint check.
• Form monitoring: weekly test submissions to catch a broken enquiry form before you do.
• One hour of content edits per month, rolled forward two months if unused.

Fits: a service business running a Growth pack site, taking regular enquiries, changing content once or twice a month.

Premium, £99 per month

• Everything in Standard.
• Quarterly page audit: on-page SEO, schema, internal links, dead links.
• Two hours of content edits per month, rolled forward two months if unused.
• Priority same-day fixes on the shop-floor bits (checkout down, form down, homepage broken).

Fits: an ecommerce store, a busy professional service, or any site where an hour of downtime costs real money.

No lock-in

Cancel any time by email, no minimum term, no exit fee. If you switch tiers, the new price kicks in the next billing cycle. Payment by Stripe or bank transfer, invoice on the first of the month.

Care plan FAQ

Do I have to take a care plan when the site launches?

No. We hand the site over on Pressable or your host of choice with a plain-English handover doc. Most Starter and Landing pack clients run the first six months without a plan and pick one up when the plugin count starts to bite.

Can I use my tweak hours for a whole new page?

A new page usually needs longer than the monthly window. We will quote a fixed-price add-on instead, so you know the number before we start.

What is the response time on a Premium priority fix?

Same working day for anything that stops a customer paying or contacting you. Standard tier is next working day. Essential tier is inside three working days.

What is not covered?

SEO campaigns, paid ads, new feature builds, ecommerce migrations, and hosting fees. Hosting stays on your Pressable or WP Engine account in your name.
