What data we collect

  • Name, email, and phone when you submit an enquiry form.
  • Postcode and business type when you use the postcode-check form, so we can confirm whether the ring covers your patch.
  • Message content you send us through the enquiry form or by email.
  • IP address and rough location logged by our host (Pressable) and by Cloudflare for security.
  • Cookie identifiers, see our separate cookies notice.

Lawful basis

  • Legitimate interest: to reply to your enquiry and quote for work.
  • Consent: for marketing emails, which you opt into by ticking the consent box.
  • Legal obligation: to keep invoicing and accounting records under UK tax law.

Processors we use

  • Pressable (WordPress hosting): stores site content and form submissions.
  • Google Workspace: email and document storage.
  • Google Analytics 4: aggregate site analytics, IP anonymised.
  • Cloudflare: DNS, security, and bot protection.
  • Stripe: card payments on invoices, when you pay by card.

How long we keep your data

  • Enquiry data (name, email, phone, message): 24 months from your last contact with us.
  • Marketing consent records: for as long as you remain subscribed, plus 24 months after you unsubscribe.
  • Invoicing records: 6 years, as required by HMRC.

Your rights

  • Right to access your data.
  • Right to rectification (fix data that is wrong).
  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) where the retention period has expired.
  • Right to portability of data you have provided us.
  • Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
